I always loved spending time alone, doing something, learning new things.. I was lost in so many things, writing stories, songs, drawing, playing, creating a whole new world for me to exist in.

In January 2013, there I was in my dorm room, sitting on my bed, my laptop on my lap discovering something new: song production. Of course I didn’t know at the time what it was called or how it was done. And I only used loops if I remember correctly. I don’t remember which software I was using but I had downloaded it from the internet on Windows.

I remember the dark gray clouds outside, the snow, the sea running to the horizon. It was first time away from home sharing a place with strangers. I remember waking up early before everyone else and going outside, sitting on a bench facing the sea, writing songs. There was a bench on the edge of a cliff away from all the buildings where I would just sit and watch the scenery. I had a piece of paper with the song names written on, new songs that I had discovered, I would pick one and just start singing. Then at night I would spend time in bed learning how to make music or discovering new songs.
